Bio
Young Cous aka Cuzo, founder and CEO of No Boostâ„¢ entertainment, was born
Jeremy Brown on December 7th in Dallas, Tx. Growing up, Young's mother
would listen to any kind of music that caught her ear and made her dance.
That love of music was passed on to her only son. Cuzo grew up listening to
the O'Jays, Ronnie Milsap, Garth Brooks, The Temptations, and Teddy P. just
to name a few. Jeremy showed favoritism in Hip-hop above anything else and
borrowed his first rap album from his friend. That album was the Hip-hop
classic entitled Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg. Jeremy had to listen to the
album with the volume turned to a whisper so that his mother would not ban
him from listening to its explicit lyrics. She did not deem them
appropriate for a 10 year old. From those days of secret listening on,
Young Cous was in the making. Young's amazing rhyming style has been
compared to Jay-Z's and his tracks often have to be rewinded or repeated in
order to catch every rhyme. "Its very hard for me NOT to rhyme at least two
words in a sentence when I think up a verse, Very hard." say's Cuzo when
asked about his rhyme style. "I can't keep it simple." For example, in his
song "Do That Move That" he rhymes, "and whats even worse is, how simple I
word this, my lyrics so nice you should write em in cursive." "That's an
example of me being simple" he laughs. With a mind full of rhymes,
similies, and metaphors together with a nack for finding tight beats and
combining the two, Young Cous is sure to be a house hold name in the near
future. ..
